If you have Mordus’s amulet in your inventory, Lohar will take the amulet and give you Lohar’s Two-Handed Source Hammer. Killing Mordus will end the fight but you will lose out on the EXP from the other dwarfs.

I think he’s not meant to be fought when transformed (you can, but you need to plan a ubber strong build, not your typical party), it’s like an enrage timer for mmo’s bosses : you need to kill the boss fast and don’t kill his minions or else he transforms and wipes your raid from the surface of the Earth.

Death fog lingers in the air. So what you want to do is to create steam. My way was to use a water arrow and follow with a fire arrow. This removed the death fog, ever so slowly.
Can you come back to Driftwood?
