Märklin ist ein Mittelleitersystem. Die Lokomotiven werden aber immer noch als Wechselstrom-Loks bezeichnet weil das Märklinsystem in den analogzeiten mit Wechselstrom betrieben wurde. Inzwischen ist es egal mit welchem Strom man eine Lok betreibt. Ich fahre z.B. DCC im Mittelleitersystem und nicht Motorola oder mfx.
