Are skill Capes worth it in RuneScape?
Since their release skill capes have been a great way to show off your accomplishments in RuneScape, but as great as they look they haven’t always been the most useful items. In an effort to give you more reasons to show off your accomplishments more regularly, we have added perks to each of the skill capes in game.
What is a skill Cape in a cape of accomplishment?
A Cape of Accomplishment (more commonly known as a Skillcape among players) is a cape that symbolises achieving the highest possible level in a particular skill (level 99), the completion of every quest (282 QP), every Achievement Diary, or unlocking all the in-game music.
How do I change the style of a skill Cape?
With more than one level 99 skill the cape will be trimmed—the band of material around the edge of the cape will be a different colour to the rest of the cape. There is no way to manually choose the style, as it is entirely dependent on the number of level 99 skills the player has. Once trimmed, a skill cape will never be untrimmed again.
Can You trim a skill Cape in a free to play World?
It is possible to trim a skill cape in a free-to-play world, provided that the player has one level 99, or they are wearing an untrimmed skill cape at the time. The cape of accomplishment hoods are bought together with the cape for 99,000 coins (or 92,000 with an activated Ring of Charos ).
Which skillcapes can be stored on the Cape rack?
Expert skillcapes can now be stored on the cape rack. The Ardougne elite cape and the spirit cape can now be stored on the Cape Rack. The message when trying to add a milestone cape to a cape rack with too many skillcapes on the rack now states that the limit also affects milestone, classic, max and completionist capes.
What are the different styles of skill Capes?
Skill capes have two styles: regular and trimmed. If a player only has one level 99 skill, the cape will be in the regular style, with all of the cape having the same colour except for the icon.
How many skillcapes do you get for each skill?
There’s one for every skill, and one for the Quest Point Cape, but it doesn’t end there. Those of you who’ve earned the illustrious Max, Completionist or Trimmed Completionist capes can feed skillcapes to them, granting them up to three of the perks, which are shared across all of these capes.
