Finding Emmie is a Quest in Divinity: Original Sin II . A dog on the beach named Buddy wants you to find his mate, Emmie. Find Emmie (captured as a Source Hound in the Magisters‘ castle) Talk to Buddy, a dog in Fort Joy’s ghetto area. He asked you to find a friend of his, another dog named Emmie.
Where can I find Emmie?
Emmie is in the Fort Joy Prison inside the Houndmaster’s Room. Send your Pet Pal companion to get inside the room first, then pacify Emmie by mentioning Buddy and that he misses her very much. Alternatively, you can kill the dogs, or throw a red ball for the dogs to play with.
Should Emmie have been the dog in the cage?
Larian should have made Emmie the dog in the cage. That would make more sense. or at least guarding that specific room where Birdie is in along with Birdie, seperate from the other dogs. So you can have a better chance to just talk to her and only her.
Can you save Emmie and Birdie?
I was able to save both Emmie and Birdie. Sort of. Emmie there is a conversation path where you can convince her to go find a master that wants a dog as broken as she is. She leaves and as far as I know lives happily ever after. With birdie make sure you walk through the door with a pet pal charicter.

Where can I find the key to the Emmie key?
Talk to him and you will learn that the guards have taken his friend – Emmie. You can decide to help the animal – the dog will then tell you about the key he was able to take from one of the „kidnappers“. It is near the ship’s wreckage. 1. Fort Joy – Buddy 2.
