Maybe the only difference in prime Netero would be his raw power and strategy but i still don’t see a scenerioin which he would be able to beat Meruem Netero himself said that he was only around 2x as strong in his prime. Even if he was 3x as strong, the zero hand would do more damage, but it wouldn’t come anywhere near close to killing Meruem.

Prime netero doesn’t have much greater aura than old netero. Neteros a human, do remember that. Only the RG and meruem were shown to be with an insane amount of aura of over 700k. Prime netero probably doesn’t even have half of that, he will scratch meruem slightly more than old neteros zero hand.
Why can’t Gon-San beat Meruem with zero note?
Because Gon-san isn’t Gon at his prime, it’s higher, vows multiply power. Well the zero note would hurt badly Meruem. Dunno if it would kill him, because the amount of aura doesn’t decrease by time. maybe old Netero has a bigger amount of aura, and zero’s note strength result from the amount of aura.
