A: SpeedRunners is focused around multiplayer, as we think that’s the most fun way to play the game. You can play online against friends or strangers, or you can plug in a couple of controllers and play local multiplayer. Additionally, you can play against computer-controlled bots.
How to play speedrunners in a public place?
+arcade Great for a no worries setup of SpeedRunners in a public place. It will start the game in local party mode. You can only exit out of the game using ALT+F4 on the keyboard. Try it if you are hosting a party, connect 4 controllers and just have it run in this mode.

What does speedrunners look for in a match?
By default SpeedRunners only looks for players in an area roughly the size of the continent you are residing on on. It will automatically increase the search distance if no opponents can be found. You can increase the search distance even further in the „game options“ menu.
