Do you like Cyndaquil or Totodile better?
Totodile love that dile it’s great at the end of the game when it has hydro pump of course lol but Cyndaquil i’d say is about as good. Cyndaquil, cuz I love Fire-types, cuz they remind me of Hell, which is where I’m going when I die. Cyndaquil because mine won every battle in Crystal.
Should I get Cyndaquil or Chikorita as a starter?
Chikorita for me simply because he is first in the Pokedex out of those three starters. It’s a tough choice, for me. With Totodile, I can kick butts, since working at Attack is something I do finely; but I use Furret more often, so eliminated. Now, Cyndaquil and Chikorita are hard to compare. Both will end up having great stats.
Is Cyndaquil the coolest Pokemon?
Cyndaquil is by far the coolest of the three. Chikorita is too girly for me no matter how many times I try to get used to it, and Totodile… well there are water types everywhere, and there’s multiple oppurtunities to get Gyarados anyway (Magicarp salesman, shiny @ Lake of Rage).
Is Feraligatr better than Cyndaquil in Elite 4?
Cyndaquil is probably the best choice only because it’s strong against most gyms in Johto (Azalea, Olivine, Mahogany). Cyndaquil gives you a good advantage against many gyms and a fair number of Pokemon in the Elite 4 while Feraligatr is still strong in its own right.
Is Cyndaquil a good Pokemon in HeartGold?
Cyndaquil is still a good choice with excellent stats and decent matchups throughout the game, but it doesn’t become a Typhlosion until level 36, which given Johto’s fucked level curve, means you’re probably going to be dragging around a Quilava until around right before the eighth gym. Chikorita sucks.
Is Totodile a good Pokemon in Johto?
It has a bad type matchup with most of the bosses in Johto (Falkner, Bugsy, Morty, Price, Jasmine, Clair, Koga, Lance, Team Rocket, Sliver), and while it can take a hit pretty well, its lack of speed and firepower means that it’s not very fun to use in battle, at least in my opinion. #SorryNotSorry Totodile all the way!
