How to send a video to assist on Hudl?
Select one or more videos in your library and click Send to Assist. If it’s an opponent scout video, select which team should be scouted as offense. Add jersey colors for each team.
How can I change the formation in Hudl?
When our analysts return your game, you can label each formation and backfield with your team’s terminology–just click Name Formations in your Library. Hudl will save your formation names and use them automatically for future games. You can always edit or rename formations from the Name Formations tab under your Team Settings.

What do I need to record my games on Hudl?
To record your games with the Hudl app, you need to make sure your device is on our list of supported devices. If you’re recording with a handheld camera, you’ll need equipment like a Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Mini Recorder and an Apple Thunderbolt 3 Male to Thunderbolt 2 Female Adapter to send your video from the camera to a computer.
What kind of software does Hudl focus use?
You can use free broadcasting software like OBS, or paid software like BlueFrame Production Truck, Wirecast and StretchCast. There are tons of other broadcasting software options out there that also work with Hudl Focus — just make sure they accept IP feeds as an RTMP video source.
