To answer Hangouts chats right from your desktop, install the Hangouts chrome extension. The Hangouts icon will appear in the top right of your Chrome browser. When you get a chat, a window pops up on the bottom right corner of your screen. Open a Chrome browser. Go to the Chrome extension. Click + Free. Click Add.

Click on the „Hangouts“ icon. You can see the dark icon on the left side of the page.

Click on the+button from the Hangouts section. It’s near your Hangouts name.

How can I access Google Hangouts?

To access photos shared in Google Hangouts: Go to http://photos.google.com or http://plus.google.com/photos using your internet browser. Log in using your Google account that you use for Hangouts. You will be presented with highlights of different photos that you store across several Google services. Go to the tab that says „Albums“.

How to download Hangouts?

Turn on your mobile device. Find the Play Store (or App Store on iOS devices),and tap it to start it up.

You should see a search bar in the top-middle portion of the screen (or top-right,on iOS devices).

Once you find the Google Hangouts app,tap Install to start the process of downloading it and installing it on your device.

You will be informed of the additional functions on your device that Google Hangouts may need access to. If you’re okay with that,tap Accept.

Google Hangouts will begin downloading and installing on your device. When it finishes,tap Open to launch the app.
