Kubb oder auch oft Wikingerschach genannt, ist ein skandinavisches Gesellschaftsspiel, welches, wie schon der Name verrät, das erste Mal in der Geschichte der Wikinger auftauchte. Beim Wikingerschach treten zwei Teams mit 1 – 6 Personen gegeneinander an.
Wie darf man beim Wikingerschach werfen?
Die Spielregeln besagen, dass die Wurfhölzer mit einer Hand gehalten werde, wobei mit dem Handrücken nach vorne geworfen wird. Das Wurfholz soll sich in seiner Längsrichtung bewegen und darf nicht mit einer rotierenden oder horizontalen Technik geworfen werden.

1) Make Teams. Kubb is played between two teams of 1 to 6 players. 2) Determine Who Starts. To begin, teams will do what’s called a king toss. 3) Start Attacking 2-4-6. Let’s say Team A won the king toss and decides to go first. 4) “Inkast” Toppled Kubbs. If Team A throws two batons and doesn’t knock down any of Team B’s kubbs, then it’s Team B’s turn to throw four batons. 5) Attack Field Kubbs, Then Baseline Kubbs. Those raised field kubbs essentially act as “defensive” kubbs for Team A. 6) (Final Step): Slay the King. The two teams take turns knocking down field/baseline kubbs and inkasting/raising kubbs until one team knocks down every single one of their opponent’s
