Motorola setzt beim G8 Power auf den Chipsatz Snapdragon 665, der auch beim 40 Euro teureren G8 Plus zum Einsatz kommt. Der Prozessor taktet dabei mit 2,0 GHz und bekommt 4 GB RAM zur Seite gestellt. Mobiles Bezahlen ist ebenfalls nicht drin, denn dafür notwendiges NFC fehlt dem G8 Power.
