Was bedeutet SL CF?
C = für „Commerial Oils“- Einsatz in Dieselmotoren. F = gibt Auskunft über die Qualität des Öles bei Verwendung in Dieselmotoren. Je höher Der Buchstaben im Alphabet bei den Qualitätsaussagen steht, desto besser das Öl. Beispiel: API SF/CC = altes Öl API SL/CF = Neueste Formulierung beste Qualität.
Was ist API SL?
Je höher im Alphabet der Zusatzbuchstabe ist, umso anspruchsvoller die Prüfungen an das Öl. Somit hat ein Motoröl mit der Kennung API SL eine höhere Qualitätsklasse als eines mit API SG. Die derzeit höchsten Qualitätsklassen sind SP bzw. CK.
Was bedeutet API SL CF?
Steht auf der Verpackung etwa API SM/CF, dann weist das S auf die Eignung für Benzinmotoren hin, das M kennzeichnet das Öl als aktuellste Version seiner Art. C wiederum markiert die Eignung des Öls für Dieselmotoren, das F kennzeichnet Öle für höchste Anforderungen.
