Der Kinderatlas WAS IST WAS Junior Weltatlas für Kinder richtet sich an eine Altersgruppe von 4-7 Jahre und hat 80 Seiten. In ihm befinden sich ansprechende und einfache Darstellungen der Erde. So können kleine Kinder auf spielerische Art ihre ersten Erfahrungen mit dem Atlas machen.
Was ist was Erdkunde?
Die Erdkunde ist eine Wissenschaft, man nennt sie auch Geografie. In der Geografie beschreibt man Landschaften auf der Erde: Kontinente und Meere, Gebirge und Flüsse, Städte und Länder. Es geht auch darum, was fließendes Wasser bewirkt und wie Wetter und Klima die Erdoberfläche verändern.
Wie funktioniert der Atlas?
Der Atlas ist in vier Quadranten geteilt, die anfangs jeweils durch eine der vier Stufe 1 Karten betreten werden kann, jeweils in eine der Ecken des Atlases. Diese Stufe 1 Karten können erworben werten ab Akt 8. Im Atlas werden außerdem Gebiete angezeigt, die vom Schöpfer bzw. vom Ältesten beeinflusst werden.
