Wie sicher ist UniFi USG?
Laut Angaben von UniFi sind beim kleinen USG mit aktiviertem IDS/IPS nur noch 85MBit möglich. Mit dem USG-Pro4 sollen es 250MBit sein, aktuell liefert der Speedtest aber die normalen Werte, was beim kleinen USG nicht der Fall war.

Wie funktioniert UniFi?
Der Ubiquiti UniFi Switch ist der zentrale Netzwerkverteiler in dem Netzwerk. Der Switch ist VLAN-fähig und kann über den UniFi Controller administriert werden. Außerdem können angeschossene Geräte, wie z.B. WLAN Access Points, UniFi Kameras oder der Cloud Key je nach Modell direkt vom Switch mit Strom versorgt werden.

How to configure unifi AP?
1) First we need the Unifi App from the Google Play store (or IOS app store), download the app on your mobile phone. 2) Next, we need to install the Unifi AP, make sure it’s connected with an ethernet cable to your network. 3) Start the app on your mobile devices. 4) Click on the Account button in the lower right 5) Click on Standalone Devices 6) The Unifi AP should show up in the list of discovered Standalone devices. 7) It will ask for a username and password, the default is ubnt/ubnt. Pick a strong password and apply. 8) When the AP comes back online you can configure it with your Wifi name (SSID) and password. Click on Apply Settings when done.
