They did a tour with Dragonforce and I believe are fairly good friends with them. I asked and they basically said that the tension arose because the band is highly recognized for and focused on guitar work. Traditionally, rock and metal bands are known and spoken for by their frontmen and vocalists. But ZP didn’t really get to do that.
